Azerbaijani gasoline to be sold in Armenia well below market price
Premium gasoline produced in Azerbaijan will be sold in Armenia at 440 drams per litre, or about $1.10, the head of Mega Trade, Karen Ayrian, said.
Ayrian said the price is significantly lower than the current market level of around 520 drams per litre, or $1.30. The company has purchased roughly 600 tonnes of fuel, Armenian media reported.
A total of 1,220 tonnes of AI-95 gasoline produced at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery in Baku has been shipped to Armenia via Georgia, equivalent to 22 rail tank cars.
The Azerbaijani gasoline will be sold through the Ran Oil network of filling stations in Armenia.
