Russia plans to build power station on the Moon

Russia’s space agency Roscosmos has signed a contract with Lavochkin Association to build a Russian power station on the Moon by 2036.

The facility is expected to provide long-term power supply for users of Russia’s lunar programme as well as infrastructure facilities of the International Lunar Research Station, including installations operated by foreign partners.
