Qarabag FK Reignites Pursuit of Brazilian Striker Andre Clovis

Azerbaijani champions Qarabag FK have restarted negotiations to sign 28-year-old Brazilian forward Andre Clovis from Portuguese side Academico Viseu.

With Clovis under contract until 2028, Qarabag is exploring both a permanent transfer and a loan deal. The striker has been in sensational form, netting 12 goals in 17 appearances this season.

 As the club prepares for its crucial European clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on January 21, 2026, head coach Gurban Gurbanov views Clovis as the key to bolstering the team's offensive efficiency.
