Qarabag defender ranks third for ball recoveries in Champions League

Qarabag defender Kevin Medina has ranked third for ball recoveries in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

According to local media, the 32-year-old Colombian registered 68 recoveries during the main phase of the competition.

Spain’s Athletic Club defender Aitor Paredes tops the list with 77, followed by Odilon Kossounou of Italy’s Atalanta BC with 73.

Qarabag lost 1-6 to England’s Newcastle United F.C. in the first leg of the playoff round.
