U.S. warns Iran of ‘serious consequences’ over executions of protesters

 United States has warned Iran of “serious consequences” if executions of protesters continue, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said.

She said President Donald Trump and his team had conveyed Washington’s position to Iran’s leadership, adding that Trump later received information indicating that killings and executions in Iran had stopped.
