Pahlavi Unveils Transition Plan for Iran
In an interview with The Economist, Iran's exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi outlined his strategic vision for the country’s future, stating that the current ruling system is "on the verge of collapse."
Pahlavi positioned himself as a "neutral arbiter" for a transitional period. His roadmap includes holding a national referendum within four months of the regime's fall to decide between restoring the monarchy or establishing a parliamentary republic.
If the monarchy is chosen, a coronation would follow two months later. Furthermore, Pahlavi committed to restoring diplomatic ties with Israel and abandoning the nuclear program to secure the lifting of international sanctions.
