The European Union aims to adopt its 20th package of sanctions against Russia on February 24, though discussions on the content of the measures are still ongoing, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said at a press conference on Thursday.

“Regarding the 20th sanctions package, we are aiming to adopt it on February 24. As part of this process, member states are putting forward various proposals,” Kallas said.

She noted that work on the restrictive measures is continuing and that the sanctions package has not yet been agreed by all EU member states.
