Azerbaijan’s Hajiyev meets UN interim resident coordinator

Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the president of Azerbaijan and head of the foreign policy affairs department of the presidential administration, met with Igor Garafulich, the UN interim resident coordinator in Azerbaijan, the UN office in the country said in a post on X.

The statement said the talks focused on Azerbaijan’s commitment to multilateral cooperation and continued partnership under the new Cooperation Framework for 2026–2030.

The UN team in Azerbaijan remains committed to supporting the country’s national sustainable development priorities, the statement said.
