Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has denied reports that talks with the United States were cancelled, saying the negotiations are scheduled to take place on Friday in Oman as previously announced.

In a post on social media platform X, Araghchi said nuclear talks with the United States are planned for around 10 a.m. on Friday in Muscat, thanking Oman for making the necessary arrangements.

Earlier, Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing senior sources, reported that the talks scheduled for February 6 had been abruptly cancelled after Iran allegedly withdrew from previously agreed arrangements.
