Iranian teacher may face death penalty – sources

An Iranian primary school teacher, Mastoureh Narimani, may face the death penalty, sources familiar with the case told Iran International.

According to the sources, Narimani was detained on Jan. 11 in the southwestern city of Ahvaz during protests.

She has been charged with security-related offences, including allegedly providing videos and materials to foreign media, the sources said.
