Azerbaijan appoints new head of State Statistics Committee

Azer Mursagulov has been appointed chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.

The appointment was made by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

Former chairman Tahir Budagov was dismissed from the post and appointed head of the Nasimi district executive authority in Baku.
