Pashinyan says Armenia will not act against Russia
11.02.2026 10:29

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said harming Russia’s interests is not and will not be part of Yerevan’s agenda.

Speaking on Armenian Public Television, Pashinyan said Armenia does not intend to quarrel with Moscow and would not allow itself to be drawn into actions against Russia.

He said he maintains “direct and warm relations” with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Pashinyan added that Armenia would always act in accordance with its national interests and could not act against its own interests in favour of any other country.

He also said he had reminded Russian counterparts of a proposed agreement discussed over the past five years, which includes the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, reciprocity and inviolability of borders.
