Azerbaijan President reviews locally produced waste collection vehicles at Baku Expo Center

President Ilham Aliyev on March 2 inspected waste collection vehicles at the Baku Expo Center, produced by the Ganja Automobile Plant under the order of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

Each vehicle has a capacity of 22 cubic meters, with a total of 70 units to be delivered to 58 cities and districts across Azerbaijan, including Baku and Ganja.

The project aims to improve municipal services in regional areas, enhance sanitation and hygiene standards, and support environmental protection. The Ganja plant, established in 1986, currently employs 500 workers and manufactures the vehicles domestically.
