Lithuania will contribute €10 million to the Ukraine support program fund
Lithuania will make a national contribution of €10 million to the EU's Ukraine Facility program for Ukraine recovery.
The agreement, as specified by the press service of the Baltic republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was signed in Brussels by Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
"The contribution will be directed toward priority areas in which Lithuania is actively involved in Ukraine – the restoration of education infrastructure, strengthening civil defense, and preschool education reform," the statement said.
Lithuania's financial assistance to Ukraine since 2022 exceeds €1.7 billion, including over €1 billion in military aid and €100 million in financial support.
