Azerbaijan’s TABIB reports 17% rise in medical services in February

Medical institutions operating under Azerbaijan’s TABIB provided 8.36 million medical services in February, marking a 17% increase year-on-year, the agency said.

Of the total, 1.05 million services were inpatient and 7.31 million outpatient, according to the statement.

Healthcare facilities recorded 2.27 million patient visits, including 42,913 inpatient and 2.23 million outpatient cases, up 13% compared with the same month of 2025.

Laboratory services also increased, with 3.56 million tests conducted, including 552,649 inpatient and 3.01 million outpatient examinations, reflecting a 20% annual rise.

In addition, 29,519 surgical operations and procedures were performed during the month, of which 28,123 were inpatient and 1,396 outpatient, up 2% year-on-year, TABIB said.
