Russia oil export revenue surges to $17.67B in September, IEA says
Russia's revenue from oil and petroleum product exports jumped by $3.58 billion in September compared to August, reaching $17.67 billion, according to the latest report from the International Energy Agency (IEA).
On an annual basis, revenues climbed by $4.32 billion. Total export volumes averaged 6.52 million barrels per day (bpd), reflecting a marginal dip of 10,000 bpd month-on-month and a decline of 970,000 bpd compared to September 2025.
Crude oil shipments expanded to 5.28 million bpd, while refined product outflows fell to 1.24 million bpd. The agency attributed the notable revenue gain despite constrained shipment volumes primarily to the rally in global benchmark oil and fuel prices.
