Turkey to Secure Share of Russian Diesel Under US Agreement
Turkey expects to receive a share of Russian diesel fuel destined for international markets under arrangements made with the United States, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced on Kanal 7.
The minister noted that Russia had placed restrictions on diesel exports in recent months. “Recently, an agreement on diesel fuel was reached with Donald Trump. This deal provides that part of the diesel will go to Turkey and part to America. Through our negotiations, we agreed that we will take a portion of this diesel,” Bayraktar stated, without providing further details on the terms.
