Crypto Market Shows Mixed Trends as Bitcoin Edges Higher
The cryptocurrency market witnessed mixed performance over the past 24 hours, though Bitcoin and several major digital assets posted moderate gains.
According to data from CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin gained 0.75% over the past day to trade at $82,422.98. However, the leading cryptocurrency remains down 1.30% over the last seven days.
Ethereum slipped 0.04% to $2,420.04, while BNB climbed 0.53% to $725.48 and Zcash advanced 1.88% to $1,172.46.
Monero retreated 2.24% to $592.86, and Bittensor edged down 0.02% to $271.46. Meanwhile, Bitcoin Cash rose 0.05% to $277, and Solana added 0.67% to reach $105.11.
Gold-backed cryptocurrencies also recorded slight gains: PAX Gold (PAXG) ticked up 0.37% to $4,170.37, while Tether Gold (XAUT) rose 0.40% to $4,168.93.
The CoinMarketCap 20 Index advanced 0.60% over the past 24 hours to 166.94 points. Bitcoin's total market capitalization hovered near $1.66 trillion.
Market analysts attribute the rebound to bargain hunting and a partial recovery following recent declines. Nevertheless, with weekly performance metrics for most major tokens remaining in the red, underlying selling pressure continues to weigh on broader sentiment.
