An eight-year-old bodybuilder has become an internet sensation thanks to Instagram, Facebook and his rippling six-pack.Brandon Blake from County Kildare in Ireland has the body of a weightlifter three times his age but has built his muscle through gymnastics.After renowned fitness guru Frank Medrano shared a picture of him on his Facebook page, he received thousands of likes, comments and shares.‘It went viral and people were talking about Brandon in Hong Kong and Australia. It was crazy,’ explained Brandon’s dad Mark.‘He’s developed (his shape) over the past year – it is crazy looking at him. Brandon is happy and healthy and his core strength is amazing, he is an inspiration,’ he added.Although many have remarked that strenuous exercise for such a young person is unhealthy, his dad is adamant that Brandon has never lifted weights in his life.The eight-year-old has built his physique thanks to a technique called calisthenics – a form of workout that uses only the body’s natural resistance through exercises like sit-ups, pull-ups and push-ups.‘Brandon has a healthy diet consisting of cereal in the morning, fruit throughout the day and meat and two veg of an evening,’ added Mark.The youngster’s dream is to represent Ireland at the Olympics and if he keeps up his current dedication then there’s no reason why he shouldn’t.(metro.co.uk)ANN.Az
