Georgia, Azerbaijan discuss pipeline protection

Georgian and Azerbaijani security officials have met to discuss the protection of pipelines, Trend reported. 

According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, a delegation of Special Security Service of Azerbaijan visited the department for the protection of strategic pipelines at the Georgian police. 

The Special Security Service of Azerbaijan guards the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and South Caucasus pipelines. 

The Georgian side familiarized the Azerbaijani delegation with innovations and changes in the sphere of protection of pipelines implemented in 2013. Innovations concerned communication system and work of digital appliances.
