Azerbaijan, Slovakia negotiate tax agreement

The Azerbaijan Ministry of Taxes on March 18 said that it is negotiating an agreement with the Slovak Republic for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion in respect to taxes on income and on capital.

During a meeting held at the ministry on March 17, it was said that the Azerbaijani and Slovak authorities were meeting on a regular basis to conduct tax treaty negotiations and develop relations between the tax authorities of the two nations.

Slovak State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Vazil Hudak said he hoped that the negotiations would be concluded in the near future.
