Following in the footsteps of father Steve and sister Olivia, Josh puts his name to a bumper 18 fight card at the York Hall on March 8 as he begins a journey into boxing promotion.

“This is something I have wanted to do since I was 15” said Josh. “I currently box myself as an amateur for Luton Academy but I see my future as a full time promoter. My father has really expanded but manages now over 30 boxers so his vision is to move more into the management side and I will be the promoter.”Whilst building his boxing career Josh is currently studying for the financial services exams which he plans will lead him to a masters degree.Father Steve said: “I am really proud of Josh. He really knows his stuff and will not only make a great success as a promoter he will be one of the worlds top matchmakers in years to come. His knowledge and assessments are way beyond his years”.Josh’s first show is a typical bumper Goodwin affair with 18 fights on the bill. Headlining the 'Saints and Sinners' card is “Saint” George Jupp taking on Georgian Gia Atenov. Southern Area super-featherweight champion Michael Devine moves up to lightweight and takes part in a six rounder against another Georgian, Tornike Tortladze., and heavyweight prospect AJ Carter, undefeated in 5 fights, will be taking his first of 2014.Daley Ojuederie features in his first contest since appearing in reality TV programme Big Brother and takes on Scunthorpe "Entertainer" Jody Meikle over four rounds at light-heavy. contest.Former England international Ben Hall makes his eagerly awaited debut against Jason McArdle.
