Turkish singer Adnan Senses dies at 78

Turkey's renowned singer Adnan Senses passed away on Wednesday in a private hospital in Istanbul.

Senses died at Memorial Sisli Hospital at 20:30 local time where he was receiving treatment at cardiology, oncology and hematology departments.- A brief biography of Adnan Senses -Born in Turkey's western province of Bursa, Adnan Senses received education in Ankara and Istanbul.After dealing with carpentry for a while, he began his music career in 1956, taking his very first lessons from Suzan Yakar Rutkay.Senses worked for the Ankara Radio, the radio department of the Turkish state broadcaster TRT, for 16 years. He published several music albums along with acting in 47 Turkish movies in his career.Adnan Senses also claimed numerous music awards, including the "Altin Plak," the Golden Record Award.([email protected]/* */)ANN.Az
