Iranian envoy in Baku rejects claims of Israeli embassy plot

“These are rumors circulated by the Israelisto damage our relations,” Ayen told APA news agency. “He is a merchant and wasarrested because of a misunderstanding.”

The ambassador said the Iranian consul in Bakumet the man, Hasan Faraji, in prison on Nov. 20 and he was feeling normal. He addedthat  Iranian-Azeri relations will not be affected by the incident.
