Pardoned Azeri ex-minister off to Germany

Former Economic Development Minister Farhad Aliyev, who was released from prison by a presidential pardon last month, has left for Germany for medical treatment, Modern.az news website reports.Aliyev had developed some health problems while in prison. After his release, he refrained from interviews and spent time with his family.Aliyev was arrested on attempted coup charges in October 2005.ANN.Az
