McFerrin to give concert in Baku on Feb. 28

Robert Keith "Bobby" McFerrin, legendary American vocalist and conductor, will give a concert at Heydar Aliyev Palace in Baku on Feb. 28.

The concert is being organized by Azerbaijan’s Culture and Tourism Ministry, according to state news agency Azartac. 

Tickets are available at the sale’s office of the palace.

It will be McFerrin’s first concert in Azerbaijan.

McFerrin, a ten-time Grammy Award winner, is best known for his 1988 hit song "Don't Worry, Be Happy".

"Don't Worry, Be Happy" was a No. 1 U.S. pop hit in 1988 and won Song of the Year and Record of the Year honors at the 1989 Grammy Awards. 

McFerrin has also worked in collaboration with instrumentalists, including pianists Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and Joe Zawinul, drummer Tony Williams, and cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
