From Baku to Sumgait in just 40 minutes by train

The railway line Baku-Sumgayit-Khirdalan will be upgraded.
Probably many people remember that earlier the trains were operating on the Baku-Sumgayit road and many people made use of them.
News.Az reports that the overhaul of the passenger railway line Baku-Khirdalan-Sumgait starts tomorrow. This line will once again become one of the most popular upon the completion of the reconstruction.
The railway line Baku-Sumgayit-Khirdalan will be upgraded. As a result of works on reconstruction the implementation of passenger transport between the two cities will be facilitated.
Repair work will begin from the Gyuzdek station. The work on the reconstruction will start from Baku station and cover Keshla, Baladzhary, Khirdalan, Sumgait and Gyuzdek.
Overhaul of the railway line is positively perceived by passengers daily moving on the Sumgait-Baku-Sumgait route.
Overhaul of railway lines will be completed within 3 months.
