"Construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be completed in late 2015”, Turkish Minister of Transportation, Maritime and Communication Lütfi Elvan said at the press conference in Istanbul while answering APA’s question.

Commenting on delay of the project, the minister said: "Length of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project in Turkey is 79 km. Turkey has completely finished all its works. We’ll put the railway into use at the end of 2015. This line will be one the significant steps for reviving historical Silk Road. Now, I can say that the project will not be delayed this time and be launched at the end of 2015”.
