Belarusian company to produce railway fastening parts in Azerbaijan

The Belarusian manufacturer of railway fastening parts "DOR - MPZ" intends to open its facility in Azerbaijan, director of the company Mikhail Velyuha told Trend March 13.


"Minsk will host a meeting of the Railway Transport Council of the CIS member-states in May,” he said. "We plan to present the Azerbaijani side our output. If we can reach an agreement, then 80-90 percent of parts will be produced in Azerbaijan."


The 62nd meeting of the Railway Transport Council of the CIS member-states will be held in Minsk on May 20 -21.


At present, the company provides Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Poland with its output.


DOR-MPZ Closed Joint Stock Company was established in December 2003. The founders of the company are the "Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Railways" and "Minsk Bearing Plant" OJSC.
