Neftci FC president steps down

Sadiq Sadiqov, president of Baku’s Neftci football club, has resigned, APA Sport reported.

It was not immediately clear why Sadiqov decided to leave. 

He had led the club since 2009. 

Under Sadiqov, Neftci won the Azerbaijani championship three times.
