Azerbaijan increased oil exports through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Georgia and Turkey by 3.1 percent year-on year to 7.22 million tonnes in the first quarter, a source at state energy company SOCAR said on Monday.

The source, who declined to be identified as he was not authorised to talk to the media, told Reuters total oil exports through the pipeline rose to 9.13 million tonnes in January-March 2015 from 8.68 million tonnes in the same period a year ago.
