Azerbaijan, Italy mull expansion of economic ties

The sides noted the successful development of mutual ties, saying the friendly relations between the two countries are based on the principles of mutual interest.

According to the Ministry of Energy, Aliyev and Guidi discussed the great potential of two countries and the important role of business forums, business meetings and other events with the participation of entrepreneurs of both sides to boost economic relations.

Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is a country with sustainable economic development, which is a reliable partner in ensuring energy security of Europe.

The Italian minister expressed satisfaction with the visit. He said the existing potential needs to be used more effectively to expand economic ties between Azerbaijan and Italy.
