Apple's iOS 9 will solve one of the biggest problems facing iPhone fans

Apple's iOS 9 will solve one of the biggest problems facing iPhone fans
29.05.2020 08:22
Every September Apple fans face the same infuriating problem – not having enough memory to upgrade to the latest iOS.

Last year was a disaster for many 16GB iPhone owners as iOS 8 was so big, it left many unable to install it on their devices without deleting years of photos and all of their favourite apps.

But it would seem Apple has listened to users (and viewed their endless tweets on launch day) and may have fixed the issue on the forthcoming iOS 9.

We already know that, at just 1.3GB, the new OS will be much smaller to download.

However, according to MacRumours, Apple's next operating will also include a nifty feature to make everyone's lives easier.

If users don't have enough memory to install it, iOS 9 will automatically delete apps then reinstall them once the iOS 9 update is complete.

It's unclear what happens to any data that is stored within these apps but no doubt Apple will announce more closer to the launch.

Apple's next iOS will bring a host of improvements to the iPhone including better Siri functions, Maps and extended battery life.

It's thought that iOS 9 will land on devices when Apple unveils its next iPhone at the end of September.
