SOCAR says 2014 profit jumped 30 percent

Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR says its net income rose by 30 percent last year.

The company’s profit for 2014 was 1.29 billion manat, up from 986 million manat the year before.

Revenues grew to 39.67 billion manat from 38.43 billion manat.

SOCAR is fully owned by the state of Azerbaijan.
