Azerbaijan puts its Air Force on high alert, holds drills

Azerbaijan placed its Air Force on high alert and test-fired Russian-made Buk-MB air defense missiles in drills on Sunday, the Defense Ministry said.

The drills held to discover and destroy air targets went successfully, the ministry said.

Buk-MB missiles were fired to destroy mock enemy targets. 

Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov praised the combat readiness of the Air Force.
