Azerbaijan issues arrest warrant against German Sterligov

An Azeri district court has filed a lawsuit against Russian businessman German Sterligov for "public anti-state calls” and for "illegally crossing the state border of Azerbaijan” following Sterligov’s decision to move his family and business to the rebel region of Nagorno-Karabakh earlier this month.
The Baku Nasimi district court issued an arrest warrant for the Russian businessman on Tuesday.
Commenting on the court’s decision, Sterligov said on his official VKontakte page that the decision is Azerbaijan’s response to his proposal of conducting a peaceful roundtable discussion with Russian, Armenian, and Azeri experts.
