Security measures strengthened at SOCAR offshore facilities

Due to a sharp change in weather conditions from the morning hours of March 30 to the evening of April 1, security measures have been strengthened at the offshore facilities of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), reported from SOCAR.

"Work at production sites, which may pose a danger in such weather, is limited as much as possible,” the statement said.

According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, from March 30 to April 1, unstable weather conditions, strong winds, rains and thunderstorms are expected in Azerbaijan.
