Sex boycott: Ukrainian women say 'Don't give it to a Russian'
26.03.2014 11:25

Some Ukrainian women are calling for a sex embargo against Russians in response to the Kremlin's intervention in Ukraine. This is just one of many tactics Ukrainians and citizens of neighbouring countries are using to protest Russia's annexation of Crimea.

The Facebook page "Don't give it to a Russian" launched last week.

"Don't give it to a Russian" posts:  All our female heroes, who agreed to be photographed in patriotic shirts, each had something of their own in mind... Do not give Crimea to a Russian, do not let a Russian capture your land, do not give money to a Russian or do not let a Russian win... Funny enough, sex came to mind last. What message would you send, if you put this shirt on? Write in comments.

@Poll_inNot: It is not a time for criticism, of course, - but I think a concept of "Don't give it to a Russian" campaign is not flawless.

Maria deruni posts on Facebook: This type of patriotism, acting from the opposite, seems strange.... But I'm interested in another thing - Ukrainian girl, who is in love with a Russian guy is enemy to you? And also what is still unclear to me, when and why suddenly did all Russians become enemies to you?

@sobaka__: If activists from "Don't give it to a Russian" continue to make public statements on Facebook in the Russian language, then some Ukrainian girls won't understand them.
