Sweden's top court has approved the extradition of a self-declared supporter of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to Türkiye.

Reported from foreign media that the Swedish government is to make the final decision on extradition.

The 35-year-old man was arrested in Sweden in August 2022 at the request of the general prosecutor's office.

Aftonbladet reports that the decision comes ahead of the NATO summit in Vilnius which will be held on July 11-12.
