TEAS to organize Xocali commemoration concert in Brussels
28.01.2015 16:00
The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) will organize a concert in Brussels on Feb. 19 to commemorate the 1992 massacre of Azerbaijani civilians in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Xocali (also spelt as Khojaly).

The concert will be held at Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles in 23 rue Ravenstein.

The Xocali massacre, the worst single atrocity of the Armenian–Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, claimed the lives of 613 civilians including many women, children and elderly.

Musicians will include Sabina Rakcheyeva (violin), Annelise Clément (clarinet) and the Magma String Quartet.
