With the World Cup kicking off, the global spotlight is shining on football. However, for Guillaume Blanchet, he's had his eye on the ball for the past two years - all in the name of art.The self-taught filmmaker shot this four-minute movie of himself playing football around the world.Bounce, which won an award at the Cannes Short Film Corner 2014, shows Blanchet's journey in various places around the globe, giving David Beckham a run for his money. From sunshine filled streets, to snowy terrain and autumn settings, the film shows how the movie-maker endured all weathers to make the video.Blanchet visited Canada, France, Greece, the USA and Morocco for the journey. He told the Cannes film festival website: 'I am not a good freestyle player, but I love to give it a try. 'For two years now, I’ve been lucky enough to visit a few countries with a ball as a faithful companion.'For many, a trip to Brazil for the World Cup is a luxury beyond imagination - a fortnight of football, and all the experiences that can come from South America. But Blanchet, for his 'art' has sampled some of the world's most picturesque locations that can well rival that.(dailymail.co.uk)
