Though the frog is killed instantly by the chef’s knife, it can still be seen moving it's legs and blinking at the camera.It looks the frog is still alive and trying to make an escape off the plate, but it is more likely that the movements are just nerves and muscles contracting.Viewers on YouTube have called the process 'cruel' and 'torture' while others claim that any animal killed for meat also suffers but most people don't see that process happening.Since it was posted on YouTube, it has been viewed more than 1 million times.Japanese chef Mamie Nishide, from New York's Japanese Cooking Studio, told Fox News that it wasn't a typical dish.'I just don’t want you to think this is Japanese food that the Japanese enjoy. It’s not.
