Turkey’s Foreign Ministry has dismissed reports that the country plans to re-introduce a visa regime with Azerbaijan later this year as part of an agreement with the European Union.
The ministry said it doesn’t expect any change in the visa-free regime with Azerbaijan, Baku-based Trend news agency reported.
Some Turkish media claimed on Thursday that Turkey will re-impose a visa regime with 89 countries, including Azerbaijan, in June as part of agreements to join the European Union.
