Turkiye's ruling party: 'We always stand by Azerbaijan'

We strongly condemn the treacherous attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran, Numan Kurtulmus, deputy chairman of Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), wrote on Twitter.

He expressed his condolences to the people of Azerbaijan for the martyrdom of the head of the embassy's security service in an armed attack: "We always stand with Azerbaijan with the principle of one nation, two states," he tweeted.

The Party's spokesperson Omer Celik also offered condolences to the people of Azerbaijan: "We condemn the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran. May God have mercy on our martyred brothers. I wish healing to the injured"
