16.08.2022 11:00
The UK's largest gas storage facility, Rough, which has not been used since 2017 for safety reasons, will reopen this fall, reported from The Daily Telegraph.

The UK Health and Safety Execute has given the green light for the return of the facility, which is owned by Centrica. It is located in the southern part of the North Sea.

Initially, the storage will operate at only a quarter of its capacity. In total, about 3.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas can be pumped there.
