Ukrainian General Staff says forced passportization ongoing in Zaporizhzhia region

Forced passportization is ongoing in the temporarily captured territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its morning update published on Facebook.

"In Melitopol, the Russian occupation "authorities" forbade making any payments to citizens who do not have the registration number of the Russian taxpayer's registration card. Only the holders of Russian passports can obtain it.

"Throughout the past day, the aircraft of the Defense Forces launched seven strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers, whereas units of the missile forces and artillery hit five command posts, five areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, a fuel depot, two radar systems, an electronic warfare station and an anti-aircraft missile system at a firing position," the General Staff said.
