US, Israeli defense ministers mull consequences of Iranian strike

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has discussed with his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant the consequences of Iran’s strike on the territory of the Jewish state, reads a statement released by the Pentagon press service.

"Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke with Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant today to discuss the aftermath of Iran’s unprecedented April 13 attacks, which US, Israeli, and partner forces thwarted in a combined defensive operation. The Secretary reiterated steadfast US support for Israel’s defense and reaffirmed the strategic goal of regional stability.”
