This lion proved he was the King of the Beasts when he took down an elephant all by himself.

The African Savanna is a wild and dangerous place for the animals who live there, especially when predators are on the prowl. It is populated by predators and grazing plant-eaters like lions, lionesses, zebra, cheetahs and antelope. When a young elephant tried to escape a hungry lion there was to be only one real outcome at Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. The monstrous big cat pounced on the panicking pachyderm as it tried to flee and sunk its deadly claws into its back.Within moments the young, tusked elephant was felled and another lion joined in to feast on the poor mammal.(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
