North Korea IS preparing fifth nuke test

Pyongyang carried out an H-bomb test in January this year and was followed by a spate of weapons tests by the reclusive nation.

This sparked the UN to slap North Korea with further sanctions.

But the tyrannical state is carrying out fresh preparations to launch a nuclear test.

The images show two small mining carts on a track crossing a road from a tunnel entrance – which could be an attempt by Pyongyang to conceal its plans.

A US report by 38 North claimed: "The presence of the two carts… and the absence of any notable changes in the spoil pile suggests that tunnel excavation operations are about to resume, or have recently resumed, for the first time this year.”

Bitter rivals South Korea have declined to comment on the possible nuclear preparations but said the military is on high alert over the possibility that the North could conduct a nuclear test at any time.

Despot Kim has vowed to carry out more nuclear tests after carrying out his four tests, despite the UN sanctions.

The latest development comes as a US official warned that if Pyongyang launches another nuclear test, it will trigger further punishments from the UN.

US official Danny Russel said: "Like a regimen of medicine, the dosage can be upped when the effects fall short of what's required.”

The revelation comes just days after the despot failed in his attempt to launch a ballistic missile capable of reaching American soil.
