Explosions heard as drones reported over several Russian regions

Several southern Russian regions reported explosions and declared drone threats overnight, with local authorities and Russian media citing possible drone attacks and air defense activity.
According to Telegram channels, at least seven explosions were heard near the cities of Taganrog and Novocherkassk in the Rostov region. Preliminary reports suggest air defense systems may have been intercepting drones.
Residents in Taganrog, Shakhty, and Novocherkassk said they saw flashes in the sky and heard the sound of drones overhead.
Authorities in Stavropol, Voronezh, Lipetsk, and Astrakhan regions issued drone alert warnings. An air danger regime was declared across Lipetsk region.
North Ossetia’s governor, Sergey Menyaylo, also announced a drone threat and warned of possible slowdowns in mobile internet.
Meanwhile, Russian media reported that traffic was temporarily halted on the Crimean Bridge.
